Natalie's news is moving to rookses.com. Bret has worked hard over the last few months to make our own site more user-friendly (namely more Andrea friendly) so I can upload photos as easily as on this site. I'll be posting some updates soon, and that's where we'll share photos and tidbits about New Baby when he/she decides to arrive (I've still got two weeks, in theory)...
In the meantime, my craft blog will remain the same: rookspaperscissors.blogspot.com. I'm overdue for a few updates on that site, too...

Recent milestones and accomplishments
- Drawing recognizable faces (June 10)
- Writing N and M and showing us by saying "Lookit, N for Nanny" "Lookit, M for Mommy" (early June)
- Longest sentence to date: "When daddy get home, I brush a teeth" [I take the 'a' to mean 'my'] (May 6)
- Helpful household activities: helping unload the dishwasher, throwing away her own diapers, undressing herself (and putting her clothes away in the correct drawers) (late April)
- Mommy: "Did you have a poop--you smell poopy." Natalie: "Nope, just a toot." (April 14)
- Saying longer sentences: "Daddy move red car." (early March) "Hey dogs, go in the house!" "Going to give doggies a bone!" (at Grandma and Grandpa Rooks' house) (March 28)
- Falling asleep in her own bed (and without nursing to sleep) (March 10)
- First real haircut (by a professional) (Feb. 18)
- Favorite words and phrases: helicopter (hee-coppa); peanut butter (pee-buwa); good sleep night (translation: I slept well last night); ring around a rosie ... fall down! (she jumps to the end); what's that?; Hattie amorrow (translation: Will we see Hattie tomorrow/soon?)
- Falling asleep on her own (without nursing to sleep) (Jan. 10: first nap on Daddy; Jan. 22: first nap in the bed)
- Catching a ball when thrown directly to her (Jan. 21)
